The PlanLogix taxonomy and data content is entirely configured within the PlanLogix Meta Data file. It defines:
- The Nodes in the taxonomy tree
- The content of each node
- The display format of the data elements
- Which nodes and data elements are index for database searching
- Assignment of validation scripts
- Additional information available for report generation and file extraction
PlanLogix is designed to be completely customized to your organization’s information needs and naming conventions. Taxonomy nodes and data elements can be added or removed at any time without corresponding data base changes.
Business rules associated with benefit plans and provide contracts are completely user defined via the PlanLogix scripting language (see Validation page)
